Bay Block Party is back on Aug. 27

The Bay Block Party is returning this summer.

After a two-year hiatus because of the COVID 19 pandemic, the event is taking place Saturday, August 27 on Main Street.

The festival is focused on showcasing the best of North Bay’s downtown while encouraging community groups to offer something for everyone.

Various food trucks and local restaurants will be on-site for FoodFest

“This free entry, single-day event is geared to all ages. There will be local bands, craft breweries, wineries, distilleries and family-friendly activities, all being offered downtown on Main Street,” says Ryan Humble, President of the North Bay Real Estate Board. “We couldn’t be more excited to be back and offering an opportunity for the community to come together after two years of being apart.”

This year’s musical headliner is the Toronto band Dwayne Gretzky.

“Having a band like Dwayne Gretzky perform in North Bay will be really appealing to attendees, they’re high energy and will make people want to dance in the streets,” says Kate Ricci, Co-Chair of the Bay Block Party Committee.

More details on the artists scheduled for the event, beer vendors, children’s activities and more will be announced in the coming weeks.
