An investigation is underway after a fire in a detached garage early Thursday morning.
North Bay and Fire and Emergency Services was dispatched just before 2 am to the fire at the corner of Ferguson Street and Fourth Avenue.
“Firefighters very quickly were able to contain the fire,” says Greg Saunders, Deputy Fire Chief. “An investigator with the Fire Prevention Office is investigating and police were called to the scene as the fire may have been deliberately set.”
There’s no word on a damage estimate.
