Three people are facing several charges, including assault with a weapon, after a break-in Thursday morning.
The North Bay Police Service says just before 5:30 am three people entered a McIntyre Street East residence, and assaulted and threatened another person.
Police say several blunt objects and a substance believed to be pepper spray were used with the victim sustaining serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
They say the trio fled the area and were arrested at a Ferguson Street residence.
Police also report the three accused and the victim are known to each other.
A variety of charges were filed against a 19-year-old city man, a 29-year-old North Bay woman and a youth who cannot be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Charges include break and enter, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
