North Bay OPP looking for vehicle after pedestrian struck

A collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 11 in North Bay has Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) looking for a vehicle they say failed to remain at the scene.

The OPP says the crash happened just before 2:30 am Monday.

Police report the pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for about six hours, as members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team processed the scene.
