Break and enter leads to charges for city man

A 45-year-old North Bay man is facing several charges after a couple of break and enters.

The North Bay Police Service says a person attempted to break into a First Avenue East residence just before 630 pm Sunday but was unsuccessful.

They say the exterior of the residence was then damaged with the steps removed from the front porch.

Police say another building on First Avenue was then entered, with about $1,000 in damage caused inside the building.
