Most hunters are following the rules in the northeast.
This is according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. An enforcement blitz was held between November 2nd and 8th in North Bay, Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie . More than 540 hunters were inspected and 26 charges given out.
Some of those charges included careless hunting, failing to wear a helmet on an ATV and carrying loaded firearms in vehicles.
