A major road closure is coming up in a week.
The Ministry of Transportation says Highway 11/17 at the Ontario Northland Rail crossing in North Bay will be shut down from 7 pm on Tuesday, June 21 until 7 am on Wednesday, June 22.
“The highway closure is necessary to complete repairs to the Ontario Northland Rail crossing,” states a release. “For the duration of this work, Highway 11/17 will be fully closed to all traffic from Seymour Street to Fisher Street.
Detours during the 12-hour overnight closure will be available:
- Northbound traffic to detour via Seymour Street to Wallace Road to Mountainview Drive to Trout Lake Road.
- Southbound traffic to detour via Fisher Street to Laurier Avenue to Franklin Street to Seymour Street.
