Over $31,000 raised for Rotary4Kids

A successful Kev’s Kids radio marathon has signed off for another year.

Kevin Oschefski, Country 90.5 FM morning show host, wrapped up his 29-hour broadcast in support of Rotary4Kids Friday morning.

“We’ve raised about $31,265 for Rotary4Kids because of Kevin’s hard work,” announced Jeff Rogerson, Rotary4Kids chair.

Along with the pandemic, Oschefski points to price increases and says it’s been a tough year – but the success of this fundraiser was just about people donating what they could and coming together as a community.

“We haven’t been able to come together as a community in so long and to be able to do it with this fundraiser, to me, that was the success.  That’s what defines success,” he says. “That’s what the coolest part of the whole thing was, so thank you.”

Money raised helps to purchase assistive devices, home renovations, vehicle conversions, program enrollment, cover uninsured medical costs and out-of-town travel and funding for special needs teams, and more.
