Road work is slated to start Tuesday, June 28 on a section of Fisher Street, between Main and Worthington streets.
The city says the street will be reopened in the evening when work is not taking place.
Officials say the milling and paving project is expected to be done by Thursday.
During the closure, Fisher Street will be restricted to local access only. However, westbound traffic on Worthington Street to access Fisher Street will be maintained because Worthington is a designated truck route.
The city also says changes to the traffic controls for part of the Trout Lake Road reconstruction project are coming early this week.
Mountainview Drive will re-open and Lakeside Drive will be closed.
Officials say traffic from Lakeside will then be detoured to Mountainview.
For safety reasons, the city says the ramp from Trout Lake Road to Mountainview Drive will remain closed.
