North Bay ready to celebrate Canada’s 155th birthday

Canada Day celebrations are back at the North Bay waterfront this year.

In the morning on Friday, there’s the Canada Day Road Race and the North Bay Museum opens at 10 am, with drop-in STEM activities.

The opening ceremonies and singing of O’Canada take place at noon Friday at the Kiwanis Bandshell, with food vendors, a Kid Zone with sporting activities and face painting in the afternoon.

There’s also evening entertainment with the Moose Rocks The Boat Fireworks cruise setting sail at 8:30 pm.

The fireworks finale goes just after 10 pm.
