A 19-year-old city man is facing 15 charges including a few assault-related counts after a couple of incidents earlier this week.
North Bay Police say around 9 am on July 12 a person forcibly entered a Ferguson St. residence and threatened and assaulted a victim, then left before officers arrived.
Around noon the same day, police say the accused returned to the residence and forced his way in through a window.
Officers arrested the man, who they say resisted and assaulted an officer, adding an edged weapon was also seized.
Police say the accused and victim are known to each other, with the accused held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
