Traffic stop leads to trafficking charge

City police have charged a 22-year-old North Bay woman with drug trafficking and possession charges.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle on Fisher Street on July 19 with the accused wanted and arrested on outstanding warrants.

A search resulted in police seizing about $8,200 worth of suspected Fentanyl and over $3,100 in cash.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
