You’ll have a chance to end your long weekend by claiming your moose tags, if you were lucky enough to get any.
Tags allotted to hunters from the second allocation earlier this summer can be claimed starting on Monday, Aug. 1.
You’ll be able to claim tags online on the Ontario Fish and Wildlife website, in person at some ServiceOntario offices, or over the phone by calling 1-800-288-1155.
You’ll have until the end of the moose hunting season to claim the tags, so the deadline to claim them will depend on what wildlife management unit you plan to hunt in.
