Update: The City of North Bay issued an advisory on Tuesday, Aug. 9 saying the planned work on Judge Avenue has been postponed and will be rescheduled.
The city is advising of a couple of area road closures this week.
First, a section of Judge Avenue, between Lee Avenue and Lakeshore Drive, will be closed for up to two weeks.
It’s part of an ongoing watermain installation project.
A detour for the Kate Pace Way through the work zone will be in place.
The city is also advising of daily closures on a section of Cedar Heights Road, between Highway 11 North and the intersection of College Drive and Larocque Road.
Starting Monday, three days of work, including pulverizing and grading, is taking place between 8 am and 4 pm, in preparation for resurfacing.
Access for emergency services, transit and local traffic will be maintained.
