There were no injuries after a dump truck struck a residence in the area of Jane and Nipissing Streets Friday morning.
The single-vehicle collision happened at about 10:15 am.
“The North Bay Police Service (NBPS), Fire and Emergency Services, and Emergency Medical Services were accompanied on scene by a City engineer and a crew from Enbridge,” says David Woolley, NBPS Corporate Communications Officer, in a statement. “The collision caused a gas leak, but this was rectified by crews on scene.”
Woolley says the police investigation continues.
