The local Kiwanis Club will once again host its Citizen of the Year dinner this fall after a two-year break due to the pandemic.
The club is asking for nominations of an individual or a small group who made a significant achievement or contribution to our community in either the past year or over a number of years.
Past honourees include Brian Chute, John & Katharine Strang, Mayor Al McDonald, MPP Vic Fedeli and Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay’s Hariett Madigan.
The club says nominations can be made through any Kiwanian and the award evening is expected to be held in early November.
