Reaction continues to pour in after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Mayor Al McDonald is expressing condolences on behalf of council, city staff and the residents of North Bay to the Royal Family.
He posted on social media that flags have been lowered.

The North Bay Police Service has also lowered its flags in honour of the Queen.

Premier Doug Ford says throughout her historic reign, Queen Elizabeth II taught us the true meaning of selfless service and was respected and admired for her sense of duty and commitment to charity.
In a statement, Ford says while he expresses his sincere condolences to King Charles the third, he congratulates the King on his ascension to the throne, wishing him great success in continuing his mother’s legacy.
