Rail and bus mechanics at Ontario Northland have now been locked out of the job for four weeks.
Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli is calling for action from the provincial government. Speaking in the legislature yesterday, Fedeli asked the premier to move the dispute closer to resolution for the sake of northeastern Ontario.
Fedeli says the premier needs to send all the unresolved items to arbitration under the Canada Labour Code to end the lockout.
