A 44-year-old North Bay man is facing weapon charges.
The North Bay Police Service says officers responded to a report at approximately 7:30 am on Sept. 21, that the accused brandished an edged weapon and made threats against the victim’s life in the area of Main Street and Fisher Street.
A release states police located the accused a short time later on Wyld Street where he was arrested and charged, and a weapon was recovered.
Police say the victim and accused are not known to one another.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
