The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) has announced a new Director of Student Success and Accountability.
Pierre Girouard, who has been with the board since 2004 will be taking on the role.
Officials state he has actively contributed to the board as a teacher, a numeracy leader and since 2012, a technology coordinator and resource person for learning and teaching through technology.
Among his many experiences, he has collaborated in the development of lessons for STEAM and digital citizenship education and the continuum of learning in the digital age.
“Pierre Girouard’s arrival on the management team meets the expectations and needs of the pedagogical team as well as CSPNE’s vision of continuous improvement. He has demonstrated leadership, strong project management and problem-solving skills that are largely positive for the advancement of the board and the schools while supporting student success,” said Director of Education Yves Laliberté.
The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est wishes Mr. Pierre Girouard every success in this new professional adventure which begins on October 1st.
