The city says Algonquin Avenue has been reduced to one lane of traffic in both directions for three weeks, starting Monday, Oct. 3.
The lane reduction is part of ongoing intersection improvements.
“Front and Jane streets will remain open, but will also be reduced to one lane,” states a release. “Pedestrians crossing Algonquin Avenue at this intersection should continue to use the pedestrian crossing lights and follow the path delineated by the contractor.”
The city says road users should expect delays travelling through this section of Algonquin Avenue for the duration of the project.
