Over 240 charities across Canada are benefiting from the annual Lowe’s Canada Heroes Campaign, including One Kids Place.
The local children’s treatment centre is receiving just over $3,000 from the campaign which took place from Sept. 1 to Oct. 7.
Over 300 teams from Lowe’s distribution centres, Lowe’s, RONA and Réno-Dépôt corporate stores, and RONA affiliated dealer stores raised over $1.44 million.
RONA North Bay Lakeview and RONA Lakeview Builders Supplies took part locally.
“Helping build stronger communities is a top priority at Lowe’s Canada, and this campaign reflects that engagement. With 242 organizations supported, we hope to make a difference in the lives of many,” says Mélanie Lussier, Director, External Communications and Sustainable Development. “These are challenging times—both economically and socially. These organizations’ needs are greater than ever, and our teams are working extremely hard to support them.”
Lowe’s Canada matched the amount raised by 50%, up to $2,000 per location.
