Proceeds from this summer’s North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce Charity Golf Tournament are going to the North Bay and Area Community Foundation.
The money will help build on the Chamber endowment fund.
“On behalf of the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce, I’m so thrilled to present a cheque for $2500 to the North Bay and Area Community Foundation to build on the Chamber endowment fund,” says Donna Backer, Interim President and CEO of NBDCC. “We couldn’t have asked for better weather that day and all the golfers and volunteers had a terrific day at Osprey Links.”
The North Bay and Area Community Foundation’s (NBACF) goal is to be a
philanthropic leader, catalyst, and resource in enabling North Bay and Area to grow and flourish into a model community.
“Building on endowments like the Chamber Fund will help strengthen our
community for the benefit of all it’s members today and into the future” said
Kate Merritt-Dupelle, Executive Director of the NBACF. “We are so pleased and thankful to the Chamber, their sponsors and the golf tourney participants for their generosity.”
Planning is already underway for the 2023 NBDCC Charity Golf Tournament with dates and details to be announced.
