If you like dancing, beer, and cheese and gravy on your fries then this is the fundraiser for you.
After two years, the Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing is bringing back Poutine, Pints and Plaid.
The night of dancing, games, poutine and pints is taking place Friday, Nov. 4 at the Grande Event Centre.
The doors open at 8 pm.
Proceeds from the event are going to the YMCA of North Bay and other Rotaract community projects.
“We are so excited to be back,” states Rotaract President Valarie Edmunds. “When people purchase their $40 ticket, they receive an all-you-can-eat poutine and one drink ticket. We also have vegetarian and vegan options. Everyone who purchases their tickets on or before October 31 is entered to win a night on Rotaract including a night at a local hotel and a gift certificate for a local restaurant.”
Since the event began in 2015, over $32,000 has been raised for a number of community groups and projects.
Some include the Rotary Splash Pad, North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District and the Alzhimer’s Society, among others.
Tickets are available online at www.rotaractnbn.com.
