A 40-year-old city man has been charged with assault and drug possession after an incident at a Main East business.
The North Bay Police Service says a witness and victim were both assaulted after asking a person to leave the business around noon on Nov. 2.
Police say the accused then fled but was located and arrested by officers, with a search resulting in the seizure of a small amount of Fentanyl.
There were no injuries, according to police.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
