A 56-year-old city man is facing charges of assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the North Bay Police Service responded to a report that a person was assaulting another person at their shared residence.
Police say when officers arrived the accused was arrested.
He was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
Police say the victim sustained non-life threatening physical injuries as a result of the incident.
They also say the name of the accused and location of the incident will not be released at this time in order to protect the identity of the victim.
