A new company has started locally with the primary goal of creating economic and employment growth in North Bay and area.
North Star Sports and Entertainment’s (NSSE) motto is to “Bring the world to the North.”
Officials say they’ll look to establish the area as an ideal host destination for sporting, entertainment and other events including conferences, trade shows and more.
NSSE says local event professional Larry Tougas brings 30 years of experience to the company’s helm.
“We are currently pursuing several promising events for the upcoming year, and we will be announcing them as they are finalized,” states a release. “We will also be reaching out to provincial and national organizations to explore potential hosting opportunities and to create awareness not only of the services we offer but also of the advantages of bringing their events to the North.”
With offices on Commerce Court, NSSE also plans on meeting with local businesses and organizations to build and foster relationships that enable us to work together toward mutual success.
