The Emergency Department at the North Bay Regional Health Centre is preparing for a surge in visits during the holidays.
Each year, visits to the hospital increase around Christmas time, for a variety of reasons including the flu and reduced hours at doctor’s clinics. The hospital is urging people to make sure their medication renewals are done before their pharmacy closes.
