A 24-year-old city man is facing a mischief over $5,000 charge.
This after the North Bay Police Service responded to a report on Tuesday that a person used a blunt object to damage a vehicle on Kingsway Avenue.
Police say the accused fled the scene but was located and arrested in the parking lot of a business on Fisher Street.
They say the victim and the accused are not known to each other.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
