OPP say stolen vehicle located on snowmobile trail leads to charges

Ontario Provincial Police report charges have been filed after a stolen vehicle was located on a snowmobile trail.  

The North Bay OPP says officers received a complaint just after 2:30 am on Sunday, Nov. 13 about a vehicle blocking an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club trail off Blue Sea Road in Bonfield. 

OPP located the vehicle and the driver was arrested. 

A 31-year-old Calvin Township resident faces eight charges including impaired operation, possession of property obtained by crime and drug possession.  

Police say the accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 21, 2022, in the City of North Bay.
