Traffic stop leads to drug-related charges

Two men from Southern Ontario are facing drug-related charges in North Bay.

The North Bay Police Service says a search of a vehicle, after a traffic stop around 1 am on Nov. 12, resulted in about $8,000 worth of suspected drugs being seized.

They include suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, cannabis and one Percocet pill.

A 24-year-old man from Vaughan and a 32-year-old Brampton man face several charges including three counts each of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
