Labour Council thrilled about Rutherglen plant reopening

The Columbia Forest Products plant in Rutherglen will bring a big boost to the local economy.

That’s according to the North Bay and District Labour Council, who says the plant employed hundreds of skilled workers before it shut down five years ago. Those workers will have a chance to go back to the plant, earn decent wages, and contribute to the local economy.

The plant is expected to reopen in spring 2016.
