A sustainable business passport, including discounts coupons and other promotions involving 28 local businesses, is now available.
The Rotary Club of Nipissing is teaming up with Earth in a Nest and Sustainable Canadore for the initiative.
Funds raised will support local Rotary projects including accessible playgrounds, the Splash Pad and many local organizations.
The book sells for $20 but officials say the combined value of all promotions is over $300.
“We are excited to feature businesses in our community that are striving to introduce sustainable business practices to their organization and we hope that this passport will encourage residents of North Bay and area to visit these establishments and learn more about their products and offerings,” states a release. “This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the many sustainable offerings in our community.”
