Grant applications are being accepted for the City of North Bay’s event hosting program.
Funding is provided to help offset hosting costs for not-for-profit conferences, meetings, sports tournaments and other special events scheduled in 2023.
“Program funding is available to help support events that result in a significant community impact and present the opportunity to showcase and promote North Bay,” states a release.
The deadline for applications is Jan. 28, 2023.
A review committee will evaluate and score the applications.
The committee includes representatives from the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce and the city’s Economic Development and Community Services departments.
Applications received after the deadline will only be considered if program funds are still available.
