(Update) Eleven communities in Nipissing receiving infrastructure funding

Update: MPP Vic Fedeli’s office issued a release on Wed. Dec. 14 stating the communities of North Bay, Callander and Nipissing are receiving more funding than previously announced.  The city receives just over $110,000 more while Callander and Nipissing each receive $4,000 more.  Updated figures are included below.

Over $6.9 million is going towards infrastructure needs in Nipissing.

The City of North Bay receives the bulk of the local Ontario Community Infrastructure funding (OCIF), nearly $5.6 million.

“With this OCIF investment, our government is saying ‘yes’ to helping our local municipalities build and repair the vital infrastructure they need to keep their communities working for decades to come,” said MPP Vic Fedeli.
