It might be a little easier to find a room to rent in North Bay.
According to Canada Mortgage and Housing, there were 30 more apartment units up for rent in the North Bay area in October, compared to the same month last year. The vacancy rate has also increased to 4.9 per cent from 2.6 per cent.
Rent is up as well. For a one bedroom apartment, tenants will be paying on average $36.00 more a month than last year.
