Dec. 18 to 24 is The Salvation Army Week in North Bay.
This after a proclamation was ready by Mayor Peter Chirico in recognition of the Salvation Army’s efforts to provide support and give hope to those in need in the community.
As of Dec. 17, the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign has reached over 60% of the $225,000 fundraising goal.
The campaign supports Christmas assistance and year-round programming including the food bank, summer camps, apartment setups and clothing vouchers.
Donations are being accepted at all kettle locations, which are equipped with tap technology.
