Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli is south of the border this week.
Ontario’s Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Minister is leading a provincial trade mission to Nevada and Northern California.
Right now, Fedeli and a delegation of 29 innovative companies from Ontario are at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
That’s where the first, all-Canadian, zero-emission connected vehicle designed and built in Ontario has been unveiled.
“The unveiling of Project Arrow, the first all-Canadian concept vehicle, is a historic milestone that showcases the best of Ontario’s automotive and technology sectors,” says Fedeli. “Our government is proud to support this innovative project and the continued collaboration between industry partners. Innovations like this will foster new opportunities as we continue to build a stronger Ontario.”
The province says over the course of the project, 58 Canadian industry partners came together to design and build a revolutionary prototype vehicle.
Fedeli and several members of the delegation will also be going to San Francisco for the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference and Biotech Showcase.
