A North Bay woman may have gone too far when asking for a smoke and was refused. The accused saw a woman with a walker, asked for a cigarette but was told no. Instead of walking away, the woman used force to reach into the other woman’s purse and also knocked her glasses off. A 27-year-old woman is now charged with assault and attempted theft.
