North Bay OPP has identified the deceased driver involved in the fatal HWY 11 crash as 43-year-old David Hope of North Bay.
On Jan. 5, at approximately 10:30 am, officers responded to the call of a serious crash involving two vehicles.
The OPP says the investigation revealed a vehicle was travelling southbound on HWY 11 North when it collided with a northbound commercial motor vehicle (CMV). They say the driver of the motor vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the CMV was not injured.
 The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team (TIME).
