Curtain rises next week on Young Frankenstein The Musical

Bears Musical Theatre students at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall are presenting Young Frankenstein The Musical next weekend.

Performances of the Mel Brooks’ classic will be on stage at the Bishop Carter Auditorium Jan. 19-21.

“I’m so excited to be back in front of a live audience for our production,” says Addie Caciagli-Rocha, a Grade 10 SJSH student playing the role of Inga.  “We have worked extremely hard since September to learn the show, and we want to share our success with our school, families and the community.”

Brian Overholt, Music Director says they’re extremely proud of their student cast for the effort they have put forth this semester.

“Young Frankenstein is quite an undertaking for any theatre group to put on,” he says. “We feel our students are well prepared to entertain, so please come out and support the show.”

Tickets are $10 and are available at the doors, which open each performance night at 6 pm.

The shows will begin each night at 7 pm.
