Stats show fewer apartments and higher rent in North Bay

The cost of rent is up for most apartment types in North Bay while the vacancy rate is down.

Rental Market tables recently released by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation show the vacancy rate in the city was 2.1% last October.

That’s down from 2.7 % in October 2021.

This as rent increased for private bachelor, one and two-bedroom apartments.
