The North Bay Police Service is advising residents there have been reports of a bear sighting in the area of Harris Drive and West Ferris Secondary School.
City police and the Ministry of Natural Resources are investigating.
“Members of the public should practice caution and be aware of their surroundings in the area,” states a release.
The police service says if there is an immediate threat call 9-1-1.
