The Empire retirement residence is thanking the community and its residents for supporting their Empire Warms Hearts event.
Over $2,300 was raised for the North Bay Warming Centre through the chili-lunch fundraiser on Thursday.
“We also had many residents and visitors who dropped off socks and useful items that will go to good use at the centre,” says Tara Hampel, Empire Director of Sales and Marketing.
She adds staff and resident always look forward to the special day of giving back to the community.
