A million dollar lottery win is being shared by three co-workers in North Bay.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming says Patti Chamberlain, Judith McIntyre and Karin O’Reilly work in the financial industry and have been playing as a group for six years.
They won a MAXMILLIONS prize of a million dollars in the September 30, 2022, LOTTO MAX draw.
“I checked our ticket on the OLG App and thought, ‘Oh my, that’s a lot of zeroes,’ I couldn’t believe it. I took a screenshot and immediately sent it to Judith and Karin,” said Patti.
“We haven’t made any plans yet. We wanted to see the cheque first – seeing is believing,” Karin said.
“I see a nice trip in our future. Hawaii, Paris and Las Vegas are on our bucket list,” Judith concluded.
OLG says the winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Lavery Street.
