For the tenth time in 13 years, several local youth bowlers will be competing on the national stage.
Seven youth bowlers from Partners Billiards & Bowling in North Bay advanced to the YBC National Championship after winning gold at the Northern Ontario Provincials in Timmins and Cochrane on March 4.
They include:
– Heather Parry (Bantam Girls Singles)
– Adora Keir, Sophie Evans (Bantam Girls Team Division)
– Alexander Leblond, Gavin Dewar (Junior Boys Team Division)
– Austin Sands, James Mantha (Senior Boys Team Division)
The bantam boys team of Brady Philbert and Easton Doxsee won a silver medal.
The YBC National Championship is being held in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 7-9, 2023.
