Several communities are included in the latest federal and provincial announcement about bringing high-speed internet access to unserved and underserved communities.
They include:

– Astorville
– Callander
– East Ferris
– Hornell Heights
– Nipissing
– Nipissing Beach
– Nipissing Junction
– North Bay
– Powassan
– Redbridge
– Trout Creek
Funding for projects in Hornell Heights and Powassan was previously announced in June 2021.
In the latest announcement, over $61 million from both the federal and provincial governments is going to six projects in 47 rural Ontario communities and three First Nations communities in Northern Ontario.
