A dozen charges were laid after area police and partners checked motor vehicles, snowmachines and off-road vehicles for infractions.
On March 3, members of the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, North Bay Police Service, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) took part in the joint operation on the south bay of Lake Nipissing, and the surrounding area.
Police say charges were laid under the Motorized Snow Vehicle Act, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and the Ontario Fishing Regulations.
Ten fish were also seized.
The OPP says 192 motor vehicles were checked, along with 40 off-road vehicles and snowmobiles.
Police also report no charges after 78 Mandatory Alcohol Screenings.
