The community is being invited to a lunch and learn event involving the role volunteers have in palliative care.
The Near North Palliative Care Network and Nipissing University Nursing
Students are hosting the session to raise awareness.
A virtual presentation takes place at noon on Monday, March 13.
Officials say the network’s Grief and Bereavement Support Services, Palliative Support Services, Caregiver Respite, and Adult Day Programs are all made possible with the help of their volunteers.
