Hundreds of future students and supporters are expected to visit Nipissing University this weekend.
The post-secondary school is hosting its March Open House from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 18.
“We can’t wait to welcome future students and their families to our beautiful campus to discover our modern facilities, top-ranked student services and residences, and high-quality academic programs,” say Dr. Kevin Wamsley, President and Vice-Chancellor of Nipissing University. “Our incredibly knowledgeable faculty, staff, and students are keen to share their experiences and answer any questions about student life at Nipissing.”
Nipissing says there will be campus and residence tours and visitors can speak directly with members of the Lakers community to have their questions answered.
Students can also attend program-specific presentations along with a “Life as a Laker” presentation which details what they can expect during their first year at Nipissing.
Representatives from various student service departments will also be there to answer questions about residence, financial aid, and more.
